Bundle upgrades and save
Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy, with support from the Ontario Government, have partnered to launch the new Home Renovation Savings™ program to help Ontarians improve home energy efficiency and comfort.
We can help you receive up to $7,700 (insulation) + $250 (air sealing) in rebates for making your home more comfortable and eco-friendly through renovations and upgrades!
Homeowners now have more choice, with flexible options to choose single or bundled upgrades for greater savings.
Program Eligibility...
Is your home eligible?
You’re planning to renovate or replace old equipment, and haven’t yet started the work.
To qualify for the Home Renovation Savings program, you must own your home.
Eligible housing types include single detached or semi-detached homes, row/townhomes and mobile homes on a permanent foundation.
Must be an Enbridge Gas customer with natural gas heating, or connected to the Ontario electricity grid with electric, propane, oil, or wood heating.
Schedule a Home Energy Assessment
Before starting, complete an initial home energy assessment with a registered advisor.
Get a custom report
See which upgrades are recommended for your home and choose at least two to complete.
Complete 2+ upgrades
Have your preferred upgrades completed.
Schedule a follow-up assessment
After upgrades are installed, complete a final assessment with the same registered energy advisor.
Receive your rebates
Your rebates will be sent after your energy advisor submits all required documents.
* You will receive the rebate cheque within 8-12 weeks of the final inspection.
Save on Energy™
Enbridge Gas and Save on Energy™ have partnered to help Ontarians improve their energy efficiency and comfort. Because you heat your home with natural gas, you may qualify for the following rebates with +2 upgrades:
Attic insulation
- Increase attic insulation to at least R-50 from R-12 or less.
Exterior walls
- Add insulation value greater than R-20 to 100% of the exterior wall area.
Air sealing
- Achieve 10% above the base target on your Renovation Upgrade Report.
Basement walls
- Add insulation value greater than R-22 to 100% of the basement wall area.
Exposed floors
- Add insulation value of at least R-20 to the entire exposed floor area
Crawlspace
- Add insulation value greater than R-22 to 100% of the exterior crawl space.
Air sealing
- Achieve 10% above the base target on your Renovation Upgrade Report.
Foundation header
- Insulate 80% of the entire foundation header to add a min of R-20.
